Ashtavinayak Yatra is a Temple: The fifth temple on the circuit is located in Theur, around 25 kilometers from Pune. This temple is associated with the legend of Lord Ganesha retrieving a precious gem, the Chintamani, from a greedy demon.

  1. Visit to Girijatmaj Temple: The sixth temple on the circuit is located in Lenyadri, around 160 kilometers from Pune. This temple is unique as it is the only temple among the Ashtavinayak temples that is situated atop a mountain.
  2. Visit to Vighnahar Temple: The seventh temple on the circuit is located in Ozar, around 85 kilometers from Pune. This temple is believed to have been built by the Maratha ruler Shivaji in the 17th century.
  3. Visit to Mahaganapati Temple: The eighth and final temple on the circuit is located in Ranjangaon, around 50 kilometers from Pune. This temple is believed to have been built by the Shilahara dynasty in the 9th century.
